Geek plushes

What would go perfect in your house with your geek space invader sofa? Or what are you missing in your house for it to be geeky perfect? Some geeky plushes. I found an Etsy shop (Heart Felt Design), where you can find the cutest geek plushes with a really wide range you can choose from. Each one costs around $30 and are all hand made, here you can see some of my favorite, they are so adorable I want all of them.
Harry Potter

Star Trek

Sherlock

Doctor Who, ( I love the tenth one)

Grumpy Cat

Firefly

Link and Zelda

Adorable aren't they? And they are so much more in her Etsy shop; you should check it out.
I want all of them, I think I will try and make one myself too and do a DIY video tutorial, cause they are made with felt, and I have loads left from an old project I did.

I wrote about a month ago already about the wonderful geek clothes Blackmilkclothing has and I am happy to announce that not only do they have a Star Wars, LOTR (Lord of the Rings/ The Hobbit), Mass Effect and Sesame Street collection, now they have a HARRY POTTER collection. Here you can see some of the designs. I want to buy something of my house (Ravenclaw).

Geek bathroom

For a house to be good decorated, it muss be geekly decorated, even in the bathroom. And a bathroom would not be geeky enough without a good, geeky and fun shower curtain. You have probably seen before the shower curtain of "The Big Bang Theory", which you can buy here for 30$.

I must say though my favorite so far is this one:

Via Tumbler
This is, without doubt, my next shower curtain. You can use this design, to create your own curtain here. Actually there are so many different possibilities, cause you can use your own designs, but I would have never imagined for a better shower curtain than this one. It is just makes my dream of the perfect geek house closer.

Organ Trail

Most of you know and have probably played the 70's adventure game Oregon Trail. For those who do not know the player assumes the role of a colonial who was to lead their covered wagon and his party of settlers from Missouri, to Oregon over the Oregon Trail in 1848. Even though it was released in 1971, due to the popularity of the game, there have been remakes for all kind of platforms including IOS smartphones, Android, Facebook and it is now availabe for Nintendo 3DS and Wii.
For those who have not played you can play the original game online here, it only requires a plugin and it is even recommended in their blog of their own website.
For those who have played and loved Oregon Trail, the zombie parody is here: Organ Trail. Copying the style of the first Oregon Trail, the recreated the game on a apocaplsis future where you have to take care over you and your friends against a Zombie horde.

It is entertaining and extremely fun, especially if you played the original Oregon Trail. A piece of art for the nostalgic retro gamers. You can purchase it in Steam for about 5€, available for Windows, Mac and Linux. A must play.

I fight dragons

For the ones of those who do not know the musical band I Fight Dragons, which is not the same as Imagine Dragons, they are getting out soon a new CD, which I would highly recommend you listen to. It may seem as a normal band at first, but they are certainly are not. They are a geek band. What I mean by that is not only that they are geek themselves and that the lyrics of the songs are geeeky, but they incorporate in their songs Game Boy sounds. Which I find totally cool, cause everybody knows that the 8-bit songs are the best ones.
Here you have some songs that you can listen too; videoclips are cool too.

If you wanna know more about them here is a link to his webpage, where you can see their shop too. They have some pretty awesome merchandising too. I would highly recommend the usb Dog Tag with the name of the band + full dischography for $50. I want to hear to the new CD already.

For the ones interested, I wanted to show you an interesting video of how to compose music with the Game Boy. Just to being able to say: "I made this song with my Game Boy" seems worth it.

The video was made by youtube andarugo, that too composes songs with Game Boy.  In his channel you can see some of his gigs.

Mario and Luigi parkour

As a gamer, one of the games I played most, and I still play is Nintendo's little star: Mario. Who does not love Mario? After seeing the Assasins Creed parkour, I saw this awesome parkour video of Mario and Luigi, which looks like a 3-D real life gameplay. Not to mention a kick-ass metal version of the original Mario soundtrack (which you can download here), cool special effects and good cosplays.

It is just awesome, however I must say, next time they do this I hope they glue their hat on, cause I was just disturbed by all does hat's falling.

The parkourers are: Luigi (Ronnie Shalvis) and Mario (Christian Russell).
This video was uploaded by Youtube user Warialasky, where they have some other cool stuff related to videogames like Skyrim trailer and this real tetris trailer. Check them on Facebook or Twitter.
