Design #8

Tetris is not only because it is a one of the most world-wide known game but probably one of the games I spent most hours in. So I had to have a design in my backpack. Honestly it is probably one of my least favourite designs, cause i did not really have the right colours, and the box should be on the other side. But people still recognize it, so I guess it is o.k.

Actually I got the idea from the original Uanyi backpacks, which I must say, it looks much better than mine. Though I actually prefer my touch of the squares at the side cause it looks more like the real Tetris.

I have to say I am really proud of this design, but I am so disappointed that not that many people where able to recognize it. I still love it and I think it looks so great, one of my best so far I think. I mean I have played so much this game that I practically did the screenshot without even looking. For those people that don't know it, they are The Lemmings, a very addictive game.

I still keep playing nowadays with Pokemon, one of the most played games of gameboy ever, and I wanted to show my love for Pokemon in one of my designs. So I decided to draw a Pokeball, one of the most known icons of the series. It is simple, but I think it looks great and looks even more awesome when I am wearing my own DIY Ash Ketchum cap.

I had to have a Zelda design, eventhough I did not have that many pixels, and this is what came out. I would say this design it's not that good as the other ones, but at least it has Link on it (one of my favourite chracters ever) and I love the heart, must do that again.

The perfect backpack for a geek: Design #1

I just got the perfect the present for my birthday: a Uanyi backpack, the coolest thing ever for a retro gamer or just someone who wants to be original. You can choose between different models and colours, I got the backpack cause is the one I use the most, but there are plenty of things you can choose from, and prices vary from 50 to 80€. You get up to 240 pixels free, and you can start doing your designs as soon as you get the backpack (which was about 5 days for me). The thing is that for more complicated designs you should buy the colours separate cause you dont get much with the first bunch of pixels, so I try to improvise. I try to do a design each working day, cause I was challenged by my co-workers so here I go.
